We are looking for a R&D Engineer
Sintrol is now growing their R&D team with a new R&D Engineer! In this versatile role you get to operate both in the client interface and as Sintrol´s internal resource. In the client side you take part in new product testing at customer premises both in Finland and abroad. Thus, we expect you to be comfortable with the idea of travelling to some extent. Besides the client projects, you will be contributing to Sintrol´s R & D so you get to spend some time at the lab as well. Concerning this, manual skills (read: using your hands) come in handy. Even though the job description combines both client and internal interfaces and projects, we are prepared to adjust the role to best suit your strengths and interests.
As versatile as the role is, we do not expect you to be a master of each aspect. However, a proper baseline in electronics, mechanics (CAD) and manufacturing helps you a lot to begin with. Moreover, knowing the basics of programming (e.g. C or PLC) is highly appreciated. We equally value skills acquired from work, school or hobbies but wherever your know-how comes from, you have to be a flexible and responsible personality due to the fast-paced environment that requires prioritization on a daily basis. A customer-friendly, curious and professionally motivated person is also a must for us as the industry demands continuous learning from each Sintrol professional. This being said, willingness to learn is key!
- Basic understanding of electronics, mechanics and manufacturing
- Ability to read and create text documents and drawings
- Solid motivation towards learning
- Fluent communication skills in English
- Some manual skills
